Angela Evelyn Bassett has been an American actress since the end of the 1980s. Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress. Bassett was born in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an Aunt who lived in New York New York. Bassett, her sister and their mother moved into St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was just five. Their father separated from their mom. Bassett saw James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play while she was still in highschool and realized that she was an actor and wanted to do. When she graduated from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned a Bachelor's Degree in African American Studies, she was able to obtain an MA (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance met her at Yale and, in 1997 they got married. Qualification: B.A. Degree in African-American Studies in 1980. Masters of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead characters, Ramonda, in the action adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
