Ward was born at MonroeLouisianaon 14 April1976. She was a student at the private Christian primary school, called Monroe Christian School. Following the completion of her high school education, Ward moved on to River Oaks High School in the summer of her junior-year. In the school, she was a part of the dance and drill team. Following graduation, she briefly attended Northeast Louisiana University. Ward aged 13 was modeling when she quit school. She moved to New York to pursue this profession. After a few years she decided to take up acting. She first played an uncredited role in the 1970's soap drama All My Children, and she was later cast in the lead in a drama for teens on NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. Her role was Meg Cummings, a virgin at Sunset Beach in 1996. In 1999, she began an acting career in films as Brittany Foster the psychotic character in the horror film The In Crowd. The movie, initially a financial failure in theaters, but later on video-on-demand (VOD) was able to become wildly loved. Ward made a cameo appearance for the film Shallow Hal - a smash success the next year. She also appeared as a guest in numerous TV shows as well as direct-to-DVD movies. In 2009she was cast as Chloe Kmet, the mother to a young girl in the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. Her personal life includes a marriage to director David C. Robinson. Together, they have the name of a son, Cameron.
